Kahtoola Snow-or-No Snowshoe Race

The first race of the 2008-2009 'Tour with Kahtoola'. Kahtoola will be on hand with product demos for every runner. Just show up and expect a great day of winter fun in the snow! A portion of every entry will be donated to Camp Colton to continue their mission of bringing environmental education to the youth of Northern Arizona. 5K: The 5K course is the same as in the past. A rolling but challenging run through pine and aspen forest. Some climbing with moderate difficulty and possible for the beginner to the advanced snowshoe athlete.

10K: This year the 10K course is an epic climb through the trail system that tops out with a sweeping view of the San Francisco Peaks. This is an advanced and challenging course designed for the serious snowshoe athlete. In the event that weather or snow conditions limit the use of the planned 10K course, the 5K will be run twice as in the past. The 10K is a USSSA regional qualifier. USSSA memebers can qualify for the 2009 National Snowshoe Championships in Mount Hood Oregon on March 7th and 8th, 2009." More info...

10km and 5km snowshoe races on marked mountainous trails. If no snow, race(s) will be held as a trail run. All-day trail pass included. Call or email us or use the online reservation form if you need to reserve snowshoe rentals for the race.
